Role Overview
As a Senior Client Partner – Life Sciences, you will take ownership of strategic client relationships and drive large-scale account growth across the US Life Sciences and Healthcare portfolio. In this elevated role, you will shape long-term client strategy, influence executive decision-making, and oversee multi-year, multi-tower engagements. You will be accountable for revenue expansion, client satisfaction, and the overall commercial and strategic health of key enterprise accounts.
This role requires a seasoned leader with the ability to manage complex client ecosystems, partner with C‑suite stakeholders, and drive transformative, analytics-led value.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Account Growth & Enterprise Leadership
- Lead and grow large, strategic Life Sciences accounts through cross-sell and upsell of analytics, data engineering, data science, and AI/ML solutions.
- Own the full commercial lifecycle—from opportunity identification through solution shaping, proposal development, negotiation, and deal closure.
- Develop multi-year account strategies aligned with client priorities and portfolio-level growth objectives.
- Maintain a robust pipeline and consistently deliver year-over-year revenue and margin growth across assigned enterprise accounts.
Executive Client Partnership & Relationship Stewardship
- Serve as the senior-most relationship owner for assigned Life Sciences accounts, acting as a strategic advisor to VP, SVP, and C‑suite stakeholders.
- Build and strengthen long-term executive relationships across pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, and healthcare organizations.
- Drive a deep, consultative understanding of client business priorities, operating models, regulatory context, and transformation roadmaps.
Consultative Solution Strategy & Executive Engagement
- Identify and shape high-impact opportunities across the Life Sciences value chain—including R&D, clinical, commercial, manufacturing, supply chain, pharmacovigilance, and real-world evidence.
- Translate complex business challenges into scalable data, analytics, and AI/ML solutions and guide solution teams in crafting differentiated offerings.
- Lead proposal development, solution narratives, and executive-level presentations that drive strategic engagement.
Client Advocacy, Governance & Delivery Alignment
- Serve as the senior escalation point for client issues and ensure alignment between delivery teams and client expectations.
- Oversee account governance, delivery assurance, and long-term engagement health.
- Drive renewals, multi-year expansions, and enterprise-wide contract growth.
Industry & Market Thought Leadership
- Stay ahead of Life Sciences trends, regulatory shifts, and emerging analytics and AI/ML use cases.
- Provide strategic market insights to internal teams to shape offerings, IP, and go-to-market strategies.
- Represent as a senior industry voice in client forums and internal strategy discussions.
Enterprise Portfolio & Business Performance Leadership
- Own account-level KPIs including revenue growth, pipeline progression, margin performance, and client satisfaction.
- Conduct executive account reviews, forecast accurately, and define long-term growth plans.
- Contribute to broader portfolio strategy and expansion efforts across the Life Sciences vertical.
Required Experience & Domain Expertise
- 12–15+ years of experience in consulting, IT services, analytics, or technology services.
- Demonstrated success managing and growing strategic, multi-million-dollar Life Sciences accounts.
- Deep understanding of data analytics, data engineering, AI/ML, cloud, and digital transformation in Life Sciences.
- Proven ability to influence senior executives and navigate complex enterprise client environments.
- Strong track record of achieving revenue growth and expanding multi-stakeholder accounts.
Preferred Qualifications
- Domain expertise across one or more Life Sciences areas: R&D, clinical trials, commercial analytics, manufacturing, supply chain, or real-world evidence.
- Experience driving large-scale proposals, renewals, multi-year programs, and enterprise contract expansions.
- Strong executive presence and high-level consulting, negotiation, and communication skills.
