Senior Attorney – Leadership & Client Strategy Role

Glendale, CA | Business & Real Estate Law

We’re a high-performing, tight-knit business and real estate law firm based in Glendale, with a team of six attorneys and a reputation for delivering sharp, practical counsel. We’re looking for a seasoned attorney (12+ years) to step into a central leadership role—someone who thrives at the intersection of legal strategy, client relationships, and team development.

This is not just another senior attorney position. It’s an opportunity to become the operational and client-facing core of our practice.

THE ROLE

Own the Work

You’ll take the lead on sophisticated business matters from start to finish—bringing clarity, judgment, and efficiency to every engagement.

  • Manage transactional matters end-to-end: contracts, entity formations, acquisitions, commercial agreements, and outside general counsel work
  • Oversee litigation strategy in collaboration with our litigation attorneys
  • Maintain full visibility across client matters to ensure alignment and quality

Own the Relationships

You’ll be the trusted advisor clients rely on—not just for answers, but for direction.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients
  • Build lasting, high-trust relationships rooted in responsiveness and insight
  • Spot opportunities to expand and deepen client engagements

Lead the Team

You’ll shape the next generation of attorneys while setting the standard for excellence.

  • Delegate effectively and mentor a small, capable associate team
  • Provide thoughtful, substantive feedback that accelerates growth
  • Ensure consistency, quality, and accountability across all matters

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

You’re a confident, experienced attorney who enjoys running matters, guiding clients, and elevating those around you. You don’t need hand-holding—and you don’t create unnecessary complexity. You bring sound judgment, clear communication, and a steady leadership presence.

  • Active California Bar license (in good standing)
  • Strong background in business transactional work, with some litigation exposure
  • Proven ability to independently manage and grow client relationships
  • Experience mentoring or supervising junior attorneys
  • Practical, solutions-oriented mindset with strong leadership instincts

COMPENSATION

$250,000 base salary, plus a performance bonus tied to individual production. Plus, 401k with employee contribution and 100% health insurance coverage.

This is an in-office role in Glendale, with one remote day per week.

If you’re looking for a role where you can lead, influence, and truly own your work—while being part of a focused, high-functioning team—we’d like to connect.
