Senior Accountant

Senior Accountant – 2 Month Contract – Scottdale, GA – In-Office - $36/hour - $43/hour

Accountants One has been hired by a longtime client to recruit a Senior Accountant-level candidate to help them transition to a newly created entity under their umbrella of companies. The ideal candidate will be comfortable as a utility player, meaning they can help out in any area needed in their accounting department. This role will shift duties quickly, and feel comfortable figuring out what is best for the company.

Duties:

• Help in all areas of accounting where needed:
• Major focus on reconciling accounts to get them cleaned up and ready for their software implementation - 4/15/26 go live date - NetSuite
• Be able to independently prepare/review balance sheet account reconciliations within a tight timeline
• Processing journal entries, key invoices, bank reconciliations, cash applications, accounts payable & receivable processing
• Allocate expenditures month to month
• Work in different areas where needed in accounting - no two hours look the same
• Positive, professional & helpful attitude – “where can I help next” mentality

Requirements:

• Accounting degree or related
• 5+ years of experience working in accounting
• Comfortable with cleaning up accounting duties and processes
• Positive, professional & helpful attitude – “where can I help next” mentality
• Work in the office 8 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday
• Able to work a 2-month contract
