We are hiring for a newly created Senior Accountant role for our Manufacturing client located in Northeast Houston. The position was created due to their explosive growth and will report to the Controller. The CFO believes in work life balance and would like to find someone who can partner with the Controller and alleviate some of her responsibilities.
Over the last several years we have partnered with the CFO and he enjoys mentoring and teaching new aspects of accounting to those eager to learn and desires career growth.
Some of the responsibilities include managing the general ledger, journal entries, reconciliations, balance sheet, month end close, revenue recognition (ASC 606), and cost accounting, specifically WIP. This role will eventually team up with the sales team to own the rebate program and work with Mergers & Acquisitions.
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required
5+ years of progressive accounting experience
CPA preferred, not required
Role is in office 5 days a week.
