Senior Accountant

Senior Accountant (Hybrid in North Austin) $80K-$90K

A growing organization is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its accounting team in Austin. This role will play a key part in supporting the month-end close process, maintaining accurate financial records, and partnering with internal teams to support financial reporting and operational initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with FP&A on cross-functional initiatives, including monitoring project budgets and reviewing financial variances.
• Assist with balance sheet account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy across areas such as fixed assets and lease-related accounts.
• Support post-acquisition integration efforts by helping coordinate accounting activities across functions like accounts payable and payroll.
• Monitor daily cash activity and provide reporting on cash positions while maintaining communication with banking partners
• Contribute to the monthly financial close process for multiple entities, helping ensure financial data is recorded accurately and deadlines are met..

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• At least 5 years of accounting experience with strong general ledger exposure
• Proven experience with month-end close and financial reporting
• Strong Excel skills with the ability to analyze and manipulate data
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Experience with lease accounting
