Senior Accountant

Accountants One hired by another growing Atlanta company to help them hire a Senior Accountant. This is an outstanding opportunity to join a world-class accounting and finance team in an organization that has little to no competition!

The successful candidate will be a CPA with proven success in auditing publicly traded clients. This role offers “built-in” advancement opportunities for the person focused on learning and growing. This is a great role for the CPA who wants to build finance and reporting skills on top of their accounting foundation.

Job Summary:

• Prepare and review general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and monthly financial reports.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies.
• Assist with audit preparation and serve as a liaison to external auditors.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate across departments to support financial reporting and business initiatives.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA required
• 3+ years of CPA firm accounting experience (Big 4 preferred)
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and best practices.
• Advanced Excel skills, ERP skills, and an interest in automating where possible
