Senior Account Manager

SSA Marketing is seeking a strategic, experienced, client-facing Senior Account Manager to join our growing team. Position Overview

The Senior Account Manager is a leadership role within the Account Management team, responsible for overseeing client relationships, guiding campaign strategy, and ensuring successful execution across all channels. This individual serves as the primary point of contact for key clients, driving communication, performance, and long-term account growth.

The Senior Account Manager collaborates closely with internal teams, including creative, media, digital, and production, to deliver integrated marketing solutions that align with client goals and exceed expectations.


Key Responsibilities


Client Leadership & Strategy
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, building strong, trusted relationships
  • Lead strategic planning efforts, including campaign development, messaging, and channel recommendations
  • Provide proactive insights and recommendations to improve campaign performance and drive client success with the assistance of the digital and media teams
  • Present campaign strategies, performance reports, and recommendations to clients with confidence and clarity
  • Identify opportunities for account growth, upselling, and long-term partnership development


Account & Project Oversight
  • Oversee multiple client accounts simultaneously, ensuring all deliverables are on strategy, on time, and on budget
  • Manage project timelines, scopes, and workflows in collaboration with internal teams
  • Ensure quality control across all deliverables before client presentation or launch
  • Anticipate and mitigate potential challenges to keep projects running smoothly


Team Collaboration & Leadership
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, including Account Coordinators
  • Lead internal meetings, ensuring alignment across creative, media, and digital teams
  • Foster a collaborative, solutions-oriented team environment
  • Support resource planning and workload management across accounts


Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or related field preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in account management
  • Marketing, PR or Advertising Agency experience required
  • Proven experience managing multiple client accounts and leading integrated campaigns
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media, media planning, and campaign strategy
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and client-facing skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google drive; experience with project management tools (Monday.com, Teams, SharePoint, etc.) preferred
  • Bilingual a plus

Work Environment

Full-time position. Hybrid or in-office preferred.
