Gelia, an independent marketing communications agency founded in 1960, is seeking a Senior Account Manager to help guide integrated marketing programs and drive measurable results for the brands and businesses we serve.


With an average client tenure of 23 years, Gelia is built on deep business understanding, steady partnership, and consistent delivery.


In this role, you will work at the center of client relationships, strategy, and execution, partnering with teams across Creative, Media, PR/Social, Digital, Marketing Automation, AI, and Analytics to turn business challenges into smart, measurable marketing programs.


We are looking for someone who can manage complex work, build client trust, and keep cross-functional teams moving while stepping into greater ownership and influence.

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as a key day-to-day client lead for key brand accounts
  • Build strong client relationships through clear communication, responsiveness, and strategic thinking
  • Help translate client business goals into integrated marketing plans and actionable programs
  • Partner with internal teams across Creative, Media, PR/Social, Digital, Marketing Automation, AI, and Analytics
  • Manage complex projects, priorities, timelines, budgets, and deliverables
  • Keep cross-functional teams aligned, informed, and moving toward shared goals
  • Identify opportunities to improve the work, expand programs, and bring new thinking to clients
  • Support campaign performance reviews, reporting conversations, and optimization discussions
  • Help guide account team members and model strong account leadership behaviors
  • Contribute to Gelia’s continued growth by helping deliver work that connects directly to client business outcomes


What We’re Looking For

Qualified candidates should have:

  • 7+ years of experience in agency account service, client management, marketing communications, or a related role
  • Proven ability to manage client relationships and earn trust with stakeholders
  • Experience developing or supporting integrated marketing and communications programs
  • Strong understanding of how Creative, Media, PR/Social, Digital, Marketing Automation, AI, and Analytics work together
  • Ability to lead internal teams, manage competing priorities, and keep complex work moving
  • Confidence in client conversations, presentations, and strategic recommendations
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Curiosity about emerging marketing technology, AI, automation, and performance-driven marketing
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • High competency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint, Excel, and Word


Salary: $65,000 - $80,000
