Senior Account Executive – Hospital Sales and Physician Sales

Our client is a premier provider of specialty medications. We are seeking a dynamic sales talent to call on referral sources in the Orange County area and surrounding communities.
Job Duties for Senior Account Executive – Hospital Sales
Take ownership of a territory calling on physicians, nurses, case managers, and other health care professionals in hospital, office, and clinic settings.
Assist in developing and executing plans to grow business through accurate business projections, goals, specific strategies and pertinent account information.
Prepare and execute strategic plans for top active and prospective accounts.
Effectively communicates with intake, distribution, and clinical teams.
Work closely with clinical and operations branch personnel to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction with the goal of delivering the best service possible to patients receiving these critical therapies.
Communicates in a timely manner with the physicians/discharge planner/ social worker to update on patients that have been referred.
Effectively communicates with agency staff, medical team, patients, and family.
Maintains a professional image.
Leads, participates in, and attends required in-services.
Qualifications for Senior Account Executive – Hospital Sales
Minimum of 3 years’ sales experience calling on hospital case managers, physicians.
Managed care experience a plus
Prior experience selling a service and/or biological drugs
Preferred experience in Specialty Pharmacy, Home Health, Home Infusion, DME
Current relationships with case managers, discharge planners, infectious disease, gastroenterologists, surgeons, and oncologists
Must possess strong problem solving and organizational skills
Must be willing to travel within designated territory - position includes generous car allowance·
