Position Overview:As part of the Delivery Practice, the Engagement Manager/Program Manager is a hybrid style role that is accountable for the overall success of large scale projects/programs as well as oversight to a portfolio of projects. The role has also been referred to as a “seller-doer”, “techno-functional”, “applied technologist” or “traditional senior manager role in a large consulting firm”. This role is expected to manage successful solution delivery for a portfolio of projects & clients, sell/influence client attainment and grow the client base, recruit, mentor and develop staff as well as help promote and grow the practice with marketing activities and/or support for internal initiatives. Ideal candidates will have a deep Salesforce consulting and technology background with a proven record of establishing C-Level relationships that evolve into being a trusted advisor of the most senior, and influential, executives. This takes experience operating in often complex and matrixed organizations with different business goals and priorities.
Primary Responsibilities:
Portfolio Oversight and Account ManagementOversee portfolio, ensure client success & referenceabilityPartner with Client to grow client value in the current and future client engagementsEnsure/establish visibility into Client’s strategic objectives and aligned roadmapEnsure healthy cross-functional team cultureEnsure alignment with Salesforce and other Silverline partnersDevelop deep rooted relationships with our clientsProject/Program OversightResponsible for overall project/program success including delivery and methodology accountabilityResponsible for successful kickoff, discovery, build, testing & go live oversightResponsible for educating teams and clients on industry best practicesProfessional Services OversightEngagement quality accountabilityMargin & utilization accountabilityEscalation support for project manager and clientsFacilitate seamless transition to client services or client's internal teamClient AcquisitionPartner with prospect on business objectives and align engagement approachOversee estimation & drive engagement staffingEnsure professional services teams are set up for success and client readiness for engagement startPractice DevelopmentPartner with Industry Leadership to curate “standard” engagement approaches for use in Client Acquisition effortsContinuously assess and improve Silverline Methodology & processesRepresent Silverline brand within professional networksLeverage deep knowledge and experience with Salesforce Consulting and industry knowledge to evolve Silverline’s POV around the challenges, trends, and business goals for these organizationsEnsure a constant and dedicated focus on ensuring Silverline’s clients have the best possible experience through sales and delivery excellenceAuthor Blog Posts/Whitepapers/Position PapersPeopleFoster a learning culture resulting in consultant growth and client value realization accelerationCoach and mentor staffRecruit & Interview as required to build a world class consulting organization.
Required Experience & Qualifications:10+ years management/technology consulting or similar experience6+ years Salesforce Consulting experienceExperience within multiple industries including (but not limited to) Telecom, Financial Services, Media & Entertainment, Healthcare & Life Science, Insurance…Direct experience with Sales/CRM, Salesforce.com (CPQ highly desired), Vlocity, Sale & Service Cloud implementation experienceExperience working in an Agile/Scrum environmentHands on Project/Program Management experience for large scale implementationProgram Management experience overseeing a portfolio of clients and/or projectsExperience managing a team of up to 20 reportsExperience working with and advising senior client leaders - requiredExperience in the sales cycle helping clients with vision, working with internal partners to shape proposals, and hands on contract writingStrong communication, writing, and presentation skillsExperience working independently and with virtual teams inclusive of on, near and offshore.Proven track record of developing and maintaining profitable and referenceable customer relationshipsExperience in proactively identifying, assessing, and mitigating risk during client engagementsExperience evaluating sales proposals and statements of work against proposed scopeBachelor’s Degree; MBA a strong plusLocation: Must be willing & able to work on-site/in-office based in Atlanta, Georgia (Hybrid)

Compensation for this role is expected to range from $140,000 - $190,000 USD in base salary plus performance-based bonus. Actual compensation offered will be determined by, and commensurate with, candidate experience as evaluated during the interview process.
