Role Description

The Sales Support Specialist is a full-time, remote role responsible for providing administrative and operational support for customers and internal sales teams focused on networking and infrastructure solutions. This role plays an important part in supporting the sales process by helping ensure timely communication, accuracy, and a high level of service throughout the customer experience. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working cross-functionally with distributors, vendors, sales representatives, account managers, engineers, and customers in a fast-paced environment. This individual will contribute to the success of the team by supporting day-to-day sales operations and helping maintain a smooth, responsive, and customer-focused process from start to finish.


Job Responsibilities

  • Manage incoming questions and requests from distributors, vendors, sales representatives, and customers with urgency, professionalism, and attention to detail
  • Price out solutions, compare pricing options, and register deals to secure the best possible pricing for customers
  • Prepare detailed customer-facing quotes that accurately reflect product, service, and pricing information
  • Create and manage purchase orders from submission through post-order support, including handling RMA requests and working through shipping discrepancies
  • Monitor support contract renewals, follow up before expiration, communicate renewal status, and prepare quote options to support on-time renewals


Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in sales administration
  • Associate’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related discipline
  • Demonstrate a professional, positive, and customer-centric attitude
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams)
  • Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in handling numbers and information
  • Ability to change priorities without forgetting other tasks
  • Skilled in organizing, prioritizing, and responding to high volumes of email correspondence
  • Strong ability to execute assigned tasks accurately by following instructions with little additional guidance
  • Comfortable working with a diverse and fast-moving team while adapting to different communication styles and working preferences
