Director of Sales

Location: Warren County, NJ

Compensation: $95,000 – $100,000 base + bonus + commission

Let’s be real—this is not a sit-back sales role. This is for someone who knows how to drive occupancy, build relationships, and close. If you’ve grown communities and know the senior living space inside and out, this is your lane.

Here’s the deal:

You’ll own the full sales function for a high-quality senior living community—strategy, pipeline, tours, and closing. The goal is simple: drive occupancy and support smart growth.

You’ll work directly with executive leadership while being the face of the community out in the market.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead and execute the community sales strategy—no fluff, just results
  • Build and maintain referral pipelines (hospitals, physicians, local partners, etc.)
  • Manage the full sales cycle: lead generation → tours → objection handling → closing
  • Partner with the Executive Director to align sales goals with business plans
  • Track performance metrics and adjust quickly to stay ahead of targets
  • Present available apartments, cottages, and assisted living suites to prospects
  • Handle inbound inquiries from families and advisors with confidence and clarity
  • Guide prospects through contracts, financials, and move-in approvals
  • Ensure new residents transition smoothly—from signed agreement to move-in day
  • Oversee budget targets and provide monthly sales reporting

What you bring:

  • 5+ years in progressive sales leadership
  • Senior living experience is non-negotiable
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • CCRC experience strongly preferred
  • Proven track record hitting and exceeding occupancy goals
  • Strong data mindset—comfortable with reporting, metrics, and CRM systems
  • Confident closer who knows how to overcome objections and move deals forward
  • Natural relationship-builder—internally and externally
  • High energy, high accountability, and strong follow-through
  • Valid driver’s license

Why this role stands out:

You’re not just filling rooms—you’re shaping a community. This role blends strategy, relationship-building, and real impact on residents’ lives. If you’re motivated by results and want visibility with leadership, don’t sleep on this.

Benefits:

  • 401(k) with company match
  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • Generous PTO
  • Employee assistance program
  • Discounts + perk programs
  • FSA/HSA options
  • Tuition reimbursement
