Tank Stream Design is an Australian-owned coastal lifestyle company with over 25 years of consistent growth. We operate five brands — Pacific Creations, Kooringal Headwear, Earth Nymph, Wollumbin Eyewear, and Kooringal Kids, stocked across the U.S., Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and the Caribbean.
Our North American business is growing, and we're looking for the person who will lead the West.
The Opportunity
This is a builder's role. You'll inherit an existing territory sales team, solid footprint of customer relationships and be tasked with growing our western division, while personally managing our most strategic accounts in the region.
You'll be based in North County San Diego, operating with regional ownership and reporting directly into executive leadership. The western U.S. is one of our most important markets, and this role will shape how we compete in it.
What You'll Own
- Revenue and growth — Achieve and exceed targets across multiple brands in the western U.S. market
- Team development — Build on an existing sales foundation; recruit, coach, and lead Territory Account Managers as the region scales
- Key account relationships — Personally manage strategic retail partners; build partnerships that drive long-term, mutual growth
- Brand presence — Oversee integrated brand concept executions and retail renovations alongside our visual merchandising team — a genuine differentiator in how we serve retail partners
- Business development — Identify new doors and channels consistent with our premium coastal positioning
- Market intelligence — Monitor competitor activity and industry trends to keep us ahead
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years in wholesale sales leadership with regional scope — ideally in coastal resort, lifestyle, or specialty retail
- Proven track record managing a team and growing revenue, not just inheriting it
- Experience in the U.S. coastal resort market; Mexican resort market a plus
- Based in North County San Diego (or willing to relocate); able to travel up to 50%
- Strong communicator and coach — you know how to develop people, not just manage them
- Comfortable with data, CRM platforms, and Microsoft Office
- Entrepreneurial by nature — you move fast, make decisions, and own the outcomes
