Sales & Customer Engagement Representative
Job Summary

As a Sales & Customer Engagement Representative, you will engage with customers, educate them on insurance solutions, and help protect what matters most. Candidates who are coachable, goal-oriented, and energized by sales performance will find this role rewarding.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, in office
Compensation: $50,000–$65,000 base salary + commissions
Remote work: Not available
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships in person and by phone
- Conduct confident, engaging sales conversations that lead to appropriate insurance solutions
- Complete State Farm product training modules within required timelines
- Follow up on quotes and customer inquiries within one business day
- Track and achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals
- Assist customers with payments, policy updates, and general service needs
- Represent the agency at community events and support local brand growth
- Participate in ongoing sales and insurance training
- Obtain and maintain required Illinois producer licenses (fire, casualty, life, and health); licensing support provided
Qualifications
- One or more years of proven sales experience (required)
- Insurance licenses (fire, casualty, life, and health) strongly preferred
- Bachelor degree preferred (required)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus
- Comfortable using phone systems, email, and computer-based tools
- Willingness to obtain required insurance licenses if not currently licensed
- Willingness and ability to travel locally to customer locations as needed, including employee meetings and sales related events; valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
