Sales and Account Development Consultant


Position Overview


We are seeking a high-energy, client-focused Sales and Account Development Consultant to join our dynamic Charlotte showroom team. This is an exciting opportunity to develop Trade Relationships and guide clients through the material selection process, helping them bring their design vision to life with expert service, deep product knowledge, and a passion for design.


The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, a strong communicator, and driven to build lasting relationships with both clients and the design community.


Showroom Sales & Client Experience


-Provide expert product guidance and exceptional customer service throughout the design pro

cess.-Build and maintain lasting relationships with designers, architects, builders, and homeow

ners.-Create and execute a strategy for growing key accounts and trade partners

hips.-Manage project pipelines and follow-through from initial consultation to final order fulfill

ment.-Identify and solve client issues with a solution-based approach.


Business Development & Brand Promotion


-Identify and pursue potential trade partnerships through strategic development

plans.-Support brand growth and awareness through innovative, proactive outreach inside and outside of the sh

owroom.-Promote curated tile and plumbing lines via; presentations, design tours, lunch & learns, social media and industry events.


Account Management & Reporting


-Use SAP HANA and other tools to manage accounts, generate reports, and track per

formance.-Develop strategic quarterly action plans for client engagement and revenue

growth.-Ensure accurate documentation, quoting, and order entry.


Qualifications


-Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

preferred.

-Minimum 2 years’ experience with inside/outside showroom sales, retail, business development or design/architecture firm.-Strong engagement skills, both written and verbal.

-Confident, client-centric approach to selling with proven closing ability.

-Familiarity with the luxury interior design industry, especially in Charlotte and surrounding market.

-Excellent pipeline and time management skills with the ability to multitask.

-Data-driven with strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.

-Experience with SAP HANA is a plus.

-Background in plumbing, tile, or construction is helpful.
