Rolling Mill Machine Operator Location: Humble, TX 77396 Employment Type: Full-Time (Hourly) Compensation: $18– $20 per hour (DOE – Depending on Experience) Schedule: 12 Hour, Day Shift POSITION PURPOSE Operate rolling mill equipment to process copper products according to technical specifications and production schedules.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Operate rolling machines and auxiliary equipment. • Set up rolling parameters according to product specifications. • Monitor product quality during the rolling process. • Collect samples for quality inspection. • Record production and downtime in production systems. • Maintain rolling equipment readiness to avoid production interruptions. • Report unsafe conditions or operational incidents. • Maintain workplace organization and cleanliness (5S).
EDUCATION High School Diploma or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE 1 year operating rolling machines or industrial equipment preferred.
TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE • Rolling process fundamentals • Measuring instruments • Overhead crane operation • Bilingual English / Spanish is a plus
