• Manages the operational functions of the Member Services Division, consisting of the Member Information Center and all Retirement Processing sections.

• Directly supervises the three Retirement Benefits Manager positions responsible for the six Retirement Department sections.

• Monitors the day-to-day operational functions of the division. Review Divisional policies and process procedures

• Reviews existing legislation as it relates to current policy and procedures. Recommends changes, as needed, to maintain consistency.

• Oversees planning and coordination of the Retirement Department’s staff orientation, training, and education
• Consults with system administrators, staff attorneys, actuary, internal and professional auditors for clarification, interpretations, and guidelines involving decisions in unusual and more complex circumstances.
