Our client is a top-tier boutique search firm that partners with leading investment firms and founders across the private markets ecosystem. Their work sits at the intersection of investing, talent, and strategy, advising clients on critical hires that shape their organizations. As they continue to grow, they are looking to add an Associate to their New York team. This is not a traditional recruiting role. It is an opportunity to develop a unique vantage point into the investing landscape while working directly with senior decision-makers and top-tier talent.


What You’ll Do

  • Partner closely with senior team members to execute searches for private equity firms, investment platforms, and other top-tier financial firms
  • Build targeted pipelines of candidates across investment banking, private equity, and adjacent sectors
  • Support strategic talent initiatives through ad hoc projects like market mappings, compensation benchmarking, and market color write ups
  • Manage candidate outreach, screening, and process coordination from initial contact through close
  • Contribute to client deliverables, including candidate presentations and market insights
  • Collaborate directly with clients to understand hiring needs and help refine search strategy
  • Help build and improve internal systems including maintaining and updating their internal applicant database, and other workflows


Who You Are

  • 1–3 years of experience in a fast-paced, high-performance environments
  • Highly detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple work streams simultaneously
  • Proactive and self-directed, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Communicate with confidence, clarity, and professionalism - with both candidates and stakeholders
  • Advanced Excel skills, with the ability to track pipelines, analyze data, and generate insights
