The Role

Real Estate Associate Attorney - Chicago, IL - $160,000 - $225,000 salary

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Associate Attorney with between 4-8 years experience advising clients on complex commercial real estate transactions. The firm is an AMLaw 200 firm operating across 30 offices across the United States with over 700 attorneys.

A strong background in broad-based commercial real estate experience, with a focus on commercial leasing, along with other aspects including, Acquisitions, dispositions, finance matters and due diligence.

You will work closely with experienced lawyers in their highly-regarded Real Estate practice in Chicago. The team is known for providing a collegial and supportive environment, providing opportunities to develop increasing levels of responsibility, including participating in matters generated through firms wider network.

The Candidate

• Experienced Real Estate Attorney with 4-8 years experience
• Sophisticated experience in complex commercial real estate transactions
• Being comfortable working across various asset classes and sectors
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients
• Possess a J.D. from an accredited law school as well as admitted to practice in DC
• Ability to work well as part of a team and on your own initiative
• Excellent organization and time-management skills
