Recruiter / Talent Acquisition Specialist

About the Opportunity
Our client is seeking an experienced Recruiter / Talent Acquisition Specialist to join its growing Human Resources team. This is an exciting opportunity for a recruiting professional who enjoys building relationships, partnering with hiring managers, and managing the full recruitment lifecycle for a variety of positions.
The successful candidate will primarily support hiring efforts across manufacturing, engineering, and skilled labor functions, helping attract top talent while delivering an exceptional candidate experience. This role offers significant visibility across the organization and the opportunity to contribute to workforce growth and talent strategy initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for a variety of positions, including manufacturing, engineering, skilled trades, and hourly workforce roles.
- Partner closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, job requirements, and ideal candidate profiles.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies to attract qualified talent through job boards, networking, referrals, and other recruitment channels.
- Screen resumes, conduct candidate interviews, and coordinate hiring manager interviews.
- Guide candidates throughout the recruitment process, ensuring a positive and professional experience.
- Manage offer negotiations, pre-employment processes, and onboarding coordination.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers and business leaders.
- Participate in job fairs, community outreach programs, campus recruiting initiatives, and employer branding activities.
- Track recruiting activity, hiring metrics, and candidate pipelines.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and recruitment best practices.
- Support additional talent acquisition and workforce planning initiatives as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Minimum of 3 years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
- Experience recruiting for manufacturing, engineering, skilled trades, production, or industrial environments strongly preferred.
- Experience hiring for hourly workforce positions, including skilled labor roles such as welders, technicians, mechanics, or production personnel.
- Proven ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong sourcing, interviewing, and candidate relationship management skills.
- Excellent customer service mindset with a commitment to both candidate and hiring manager satisfaction.
- Experience supporting recruitment marketing initiatives, job fairs, campus recruiting, or employer branding programs.
- Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS), LinkedIn Recruiter, and other sourcing tools.
- Ability to adapt quickly and reprioritize based on changing business needs.
