Inbound Receiving Planner / Coordinator
Job Description
The Inbound Receiving Planner/Coordinator coordinates and optimizes the receipt of goods and materials into a busy distribution center. This role works closely with suppliers, logistics teams, and internal departments to plan inbound shipment schedules, align receiving activities with purchasing and inventory needs, and maintain accurate records within warehouse systems. The position combines hands-on warehouse activities such as unloading, material handling, and inventory control with system-based tasks including data entry, documentation, and process improvement.

Work Environment
This position is based in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment that supports active distribution and logistics operations. You will spend most of your time on the warehouse floor and office, working around pallets, racking, forklifts, and other material handling equipment. The role is physically active and involves tasks such as unloading trucks, moving materials, palletizing, labeling, and lifting items up to at least 25 lbs. Use of RF scanners, WMS/ERP systems, and computers is a regular part of the workday. Appropriate safety gear is required, including steel-toe footwear, and you are expected to follow all safety and warehouse operating procedures.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grand Prairie, TX.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr.
