NOW HIRING! - Warehouse Associate and Forklift Operators

Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and detail‑oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team in Sarasota, FL. This role supports daily warehouse operations including forklift operations, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, inventory control, and cycle counting.

Key Responsibilities:

Order Fulfillment

• Accurately pick and pack customer orders according to established standards
• Prepare shipments by labeling, wrapping, and palletizing products
• Verify order accuracy and complete required paperwork

Shipping & Receiving

• Receive incoming shipments and inspect materials for accuracy and condition
• Process outbound shipments and prepare necessary shipping documents
• Load and unload trucks using pallet jacks or forklifts (if certified)

Inventory Management

• Perform routine cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory levels
• Assist with restocking and organizing products
• Identify and report inventory discrepancies

General Warehouse Operations

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
• Operate warehouse management systems (WMS) and handheld scanners
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies

Additional Requirements for Forklift Operators

• Valid forklift certification or willingness to become certified.
• 1+ year of forklift operating experience (sit-down or stand-up preferred).
• Ability to safely handle pallets, crates, and other materials with precision.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods
• Basic computer and scanning‑device skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Team‑player attitude with a strong work ethic
• Forklift experience/certification a plus

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sarasota, FL.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr.
