Job Title: Real Estate Closer for South Carolina Files

Position Reports To: 

Site Manager 

Summary: 

Real Estate Closers prepare closing packages for real estate closing transactions. 

Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Run a task report each day to determine daily duties. 
• Coordinate closing transactions between all parties: buyers, sellers, lenders, and real estate agents. 
• Work under limited supervision to prepare closing packages for real estate loans/closings. 
• Maintain effective communication and address questions for closing agents and clients. 
• Serve as the main point of contact for all parties in connection with closings. 
• Collaborate with team members to resolve issues accurately and in a timely manner. 
• Review approved title commitments and ensure title work is clear of liens, judgments, and encroachments. 
• Verify all payoffs and invoices have been obtained/received. 
• Prepare Closing Disclosures and finalize Closing Disclosures. 
• Collect all required documents for loan closing and funding; create G&B documents. 
• Disburse funds upon closing and set up wires, prepare for assistant to post-close. 
• Verify documents are ready/correct for assistant to E-file/send for recording. 
• Perform other duties as assigned. 

Necessary Qualifications/Skills: 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
• Ability to use Microsoft Office Software. 
• High School Diploma. 
• Minimum of two years of experience in real estate closings in South Carolina or four years as a Real Estate Closing Assistant in South Carolina. 
• Experience with Qualia or SoftPro. 
• Basic understanding of accounting. 
• 2 years experience as a Real Estate Closing Paralegal.
