LHH is seeking a Corporate Real Estate Paralegal for our valued law firm client. The ideal candidate brings broad, nationwide real estate experience, including acquisitions and dispositions, joint venture transactions, development, manufactured housing, commercial leasing—particularly retail leasing—real estate tax structuring, and debt and equity financing. Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze contracts and purchase & sale agreements
  • Prepare and manage closing checklists, calculate critical dates, and track transactions through closing
  • Review title, survey, and zoning matters; prepare objection notices and response letters; resolve title issues; apply ALTA survey standards
  • Research and coordinate local requirements, including tax clearance and bulk sales compliance
  • Prepare estoppels and SNDAs
  • Draft and review closing documents
  • Manage due diligence, including ordering, reviewing, and summarizing searches
  • Review and abstract leases
  • Prepare and file UCC Financing Statements
  • Coordinate and facilitate all aspects of closings with clients, title companies, and lenders
  • Oversee preparation of electronic closing binders
  • Utilize the firm’s docketing system to track matters and deadlines
  • Communicate effectively with clients and third parties throughout each matter


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certificate
  • 5+ years of relevant real estate transactional and/or finance experience; candidates with somewhat less experience will be considered if otherwise well qualified
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Solid technical proficiency; experience with Microsoft Office, iManage, and Adobe preferred
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong time-management skills with the ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to delegate tasks effectively, as appropriate
  • Demonstrated commitment to delivering high-quality client service
  • Flexibility to work occasional overtime as needed


The anticipated salary range is between $100K and $120K.
