POSITION SUMMARY
The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for the organization’s Quality System. Plans, coordinates, and manages our Quality Assurance programs designed to ensure product compliance consistent with our customers’ requirements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Provide technical guidance on quality programs to all levels of management.
· Create and maintain quality policies, procedures, and work instructions for the organization.
· Utilize advanced statistical techniques to support a data driven process to reduce risk. Possess communication skills to present data findings and results professionally in layman’s terms.
· Own companywide KPI’s to drive focused initiatives that eliminate waste and improve performance.
· Maintain, review, and present Cost of Poor-Quality metrics monthly to leadership (commodities tracked as a % of Sales).
· Oversee on-going efforts in maintaining our ISO/ IATF 16949:2016 QMS certifications.
· Engage the organization to adapt and maintain a lean continuous improvement culture.
· Perform Supplier Quality System Assessments
· Facilitate Kaizen Events
· Own all AIAG Core Tool deliverables including PPAP submissions (Part Submission Warrants), PFMEA/Control Plan management, SPC chart deployment, and Gage R&R/MSA studies across active production programs.
· Manage customer-facing quality accountability: respond to customer SCARs and PPM notifications, lead containment and 8D corrective actions, maintain customer quality portal scorecards (GM, Stellantis, Flex, etc.).
· Oversee incoming inspection processes, issue Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs), and maintain supplier quality scorecards.
· Manage the calibration program and oversee measurement equipment including CMMs, gauges, and inspection tooling.
· Participate in APQP activities to provide leadership in problem solving initiatives and maintain focus on customer quality requirements.
· Interact with all personnel, who manage, perform and verify work affecting quality.
· Carry out all organizational directives affecting product conformity, corrective action, and implementation of solutions to support Continuous Improvement initiatives.
· Cooperates with management to formulate and establish company policy, operating procedures, and goals instilling quality mindedness throughout the organization.
· Implements and evaluates educational programs and training to improve Quality audit results.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Oversee technicians and quality engineers.
· Support and assist with any floor personnel on product assessment and criteria.
