Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Purchasing Specialist to join our dynamic team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for issuing and maintaining purchase orders, coordinating deliveries, data maintenance and other administrative tasks.


Duties

  • Prepare and process purchase orders and requisitions
  • Communicate with vendors regarding pricing, availability and delivery schedules
  • Monitor orders and ensure timely delivery of goods & services
  • Review and maintain data, files and documentation


Experience

  • Attention to detail with well-developed analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to use root cause analysis to problem solve and analyze reasons and causes of issues
  • Ability to think about all the factors that might impact a situation and recommend practical and effective solutions
  • Works effectively and independently while maintaining personal stability in dynamic, fast paced, team environment and adapts to change
  • Proven written and verbal presentation skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, works effectively and relates well to all levels within the organization as well as individuals outside the company in a respectful, professional, and constructive manner
