Procurement Specialist

LHH has partnered with an established organization in North County who’s seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to support accounting and operations across multiple departments. This role plays a key part in ensuring goods and services are sourced efficiently, cost-effectively, and in alignment with internal processes. Responsibilities of this procurement role include:

• Manage end-to-end procurement activities, including purchase requisitions, vendor selection, and order placement
• Source and evaluate suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, quality, and service levels
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to understand purchasing needs and timelines
• Track and monitor purchase orders, deliveries, and inventory levels to support operational efficiency
• Maintain accurate procurement records, documentation, and reporting
• Support contract negotiations and vendor agreements to optimize cost savings
• Ensure compliance with internal purchasing policies and approval workflows
• Build and maintain strong vendor relationships while resolving any supply or service issues

Minimum requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in procurement or purchasing
• Working knowledge of purchase orders, vendor coordination, and sourcing processes
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP or purchasing systems
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a high-volume environment
