Job Role- Psychologist- Case Management Consultant

Location- Napa, CA


Key Responsibilities

  • Eligibility & Intake Evaluation: Review multi-disciplinary diagnostic reports, psychological evaluations, and medical histories to determine if applicants meet the state criteria for regional center services.
  • Clinical Consultation: Serve as an internal subject matter expert for Service Coordinators and Case Managers regarding complex behavioral challenges, mental health diagnoses (dual diagnosis), and psychiatric medication concerns.
  • Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) Collaboration: Participate actively in IDT meetings to develop and modify Individual Program Plans (IPP) for clients with high-acuity behavioral or psychological needs.
  • Community & Provider Training: Provide training and guidance to community care facility vendors, care providers, and families on positive behavior support strategies and crisis de-escalation.
  • Psychological Testing (When Applicable): Select, administer, and interpret psychometric and diagnostic tests to clarify diagnoses for complex or ambiguous regional center intake cases.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical, Counseling, or Educational Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure: Active and unrestricted license as a Psychologist issued by the California Board of Psychology.
