POSITION OVERVIEW: As a Project Manager at Land Development, you will manage public infrastructure projects that may include water and wastewater systems, drainage, and local infrastructure work. This role is responsible for fulfilling all requirements of project contracts and applying advanced engineering principles and practices to deliver high-quality project outcomes.


A TYPICAL DAY MIGHT INCLUDE:


Leading and mentoring EITs, designers, and CAD staff in the development of construction plans, exhibits, reports, and technical deliverables

Managing daily project operations, including design, construction support, and agency approval efforts

Planning, coordinating, and directing large, complex projects or multiple smaller projects simultaneously

Managing project scope, fees, schedules, deliverables, billing, and collections

Coordinating directly with clients and maintaining strong client relationships

Collaborating with other disciplines and external consultants

Prioritizing multiple work assignments with minimal supervision

REQUIRED EDUCATION/LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS:


Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering from an ABET-accredited program

Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Texas

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:


6+ years of engineering experience

Experience managing public infrastructure projects

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong working relationships

IDEALLY, YOU SHOULD ALSO HAVE:


Experience managing multiple concurrent projects with varying levels of complexity

Comfort leading teams and coordinating across disciplines

Strong organizational and prioritization skills
