Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead new product development initiatives within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for overall project leadership, including project planning, financial management, customer engagement, and cross-functional team coordination to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage new product development projects from initiation through completion.
- Oversee project financials, timelines, resource allocation, and overall project performance.
- Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
- Serve as the primary liaison between customers, sales, management, and project teams.
- Evaluate new business opportunities and conduct project cost analyses.
- Ensure effective communication and strong customer relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor project progress and drive timely resolution of risks and issues.
- Support compliance with FDA, DEA, EPA, cGMP, and company safety requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific field; advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Proven experience managing new product development projects and cross-functional teams.
- Strong understanding of project financials, business planning, and cost analysis.
- Experience with direct customer interaction and relationship management.
- Knowledge of cGMP regulations and pharmaceutical development processes.
