Project Engineer
Location: Marlborough, MA
Overview:
Lead all engineering and technical activities for assigned power generation projects. Partner with project managers, design teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure projects meet technical requirements, codes, schedules, and budgets.
Must be U.S. Citizen or hold a green card. Cannot provide sponsorship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead engineering execution for power plant projects from design through commissioning.
- Coordinate engineering teams, subcontractors, and technical resources.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry codes, and contract requirements.
- Manage technical documentation, RFIs, NCRs, commissioning procedures, and O&M manuals.
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for clients and suppliers.
- Support project scheduling, resource planning, and progress reporting.
- Monitor engineering hours, deliverables, and project milestones.
Preferred Certifications:
- Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- Experience leading engineering design efforts for fossil fuel power plants or utility power projects.
- Experience in engineering management, design-build, or project coordination environments preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Primavera P6.
- Strong leadership, communication, and project coordination skills.
