Production Worker – Day Shift (Forklift | GMP)

🔧 What You’ll Do

You’ll be a key part of daily plant operations, ensuring materials and chemical products are handled, filled, labeled, and shipped safely and accurately.

  • Stage finished products for outbound shipments
  • Operate a sit‑down forklift to load/unload trucks and materials
  • Perform manual and tote chemical filling according to production orders
  • Label containers to meet GMP and regulatory standards
  • Clean, prep, and re‑label totes
  • Support general production and material‑handling tasks
  • Use a tape measure to verify fills and packaging requirements
  • Follow written and verbal instructions with precision
  • Maintain strict safety and PPE compliance
  • Rotate into dock coverage as needed (extended hours during rotation)
✔ What We’re Looking For

Required

  • 3+ years of production experience (GMP environment preferred)
  • 3+ years of sit‑down forklift experience
  • Experience working with chemicals or regulated materials
  • Strong attention to detail with labeling and documentation
  • Ability to follow structured procedures and safety protocols
  • Reliability and a safety‑first mindset
  • Willingness to support extended shifts when needed

Nice to Have

  • Chemical manufacturing or distribution experience
  • Experience in industrial, food, or pharmaceutical environments
  • Familiarity with GMP documentation
  • Comfort working around chemical odors (ammonia, chlorine)
🏭 Work Environment & Schedule
  • Clean, organized, safety‑focused chemical manufacturing facility
  • Physical, hands‑on work with full PPE provided
  • Chemical odors may be present

Schedule:

  • 1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
  • After training: 1 month every 9–11 months working 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM for dock coverage
  • Ability to support up to 10‑hour days when required

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $26.00/hr.
