Production Worker

As a Production Worker, you will be in a versatile role where you will be responsible for loading materials onto the line and stacking materials as they come off the line. You will conduct visual quality inspections, cut tiles to size, and stack/palletize finished tiles. Most tiles weigh around 2 pounds, but some may be heavier. You will be required to lift up to 50 pounds independently, with team lifts for anything above that weight.

Responsibilities

• Load materials onto the production line.
• Stack materials after they come off the line.
• Perform visual quality inspections.
• Cut tiles to size.
• Stack and palletize finished tiles.
• Lift up to 50 pounds independently; team lift required for heavier items.

• At least 1 year of machine operation/production line experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Experience with assembly, production, and machine operation.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
• Experience as a material handler and forklift operator.

• Experience in visual quality inspection.
• Experience in packing and palletizing.

Work Environment

Work in a very clean environment that is not climate-controlled, which can be warm during the summer. You will be working with fiberglass, so personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided to cover your arms and neck to avoid irritation. Gloves, earplugs, and safety glasses are provided. The shifts are as follows: 1st Shift from 5 am to 1 pm Monday to Thursday, with overtime until 3 pm; 2nd Shift from 2:50 pm to 12:50 am Monday to Thursday, with Friday for overtime; 3rd Shift from 9 pm to 7 am.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hilliard, OH.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Hilliard,OH.
