Production Manager

This key leadership position will drive operational excellence, team performance, and a culture of continuous improvement in a fast-paced, high-output manufacturing environment. You will work hand-in-hand with technical experts (including Plant and Process Engineering) to align day-to-day execution with long-term process optimization and efficiency gains.

Core Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of production supervisors to consistently deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality results
• Build and reinforce a strong culture of accountability by setting clear expectations and following through with follow-up and coaching
• Own and communicate plant KPIs, maintaining a sharp focus on performance data, trends, and root-cause analysis
• Champion continuous improvement efforts, applying Lean principles, 5S, and other proven methodologies to eliminate waste and elevate standards
• Design and execute robust training and talent development programs to close skill gaps and build bench strength
• Partner effectively across functions to balance immediate production demands with strategic change initiatives and process enhancements

Ideal Background & Traits

• Bachelor’s degree required (technical or business-related field preferred)
• Proven leadership experience in manufacturing, ideally in a continuous or 24/7 operation
• High sense of urgency with a bias for action and a track record of delivering tangible results
• Strong initiative — someone who sees opportunities, drives projects to completion, and measures success through real outcomes
• Data-savvy: comfortable analyzing KPIs and turning insights into practical improvement plans
• Skilled at influencing others, managing conflicting priorities (e.g., production volume vs. process discipline), and holding teams accountable
• Hands-on experience implementing Lean, 5S, structured training programs, or similar frameworks
