Position: Procurement Analyst

Pay Rate: $325-$38/Hr. On W2

Location: Wilmington DE

Duration: 12+ Months (Possible Extension)

Job Summary:

This is a dynamic and impactful position responsible for managing day-to-day procurement transactional work, agreements, and supplier coordination for R&D sites. You will act as the key interface between the R&D team, suppliers, and buyers, handling complex tasks with a high degree of independence and judgment.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the primary contact for day-to-day needs of the R&D team and suppliers, resolving critical delivery, supply, and invoicing issues independently using discretionary judgment.
Prepare, negotiate, manage, and coordinate procurement agreements (Buyer of Record with execution authority).
Negotiate terms & conditions, lump sums, labor rates, mark-ups, and payment terms; create white paper agreements as needed.
Monitor agreements for expiration and collaborate on extensions, cancellations, or recreations.
Analyze orders to ensure correct T&Cs are applied and engage Legal during negotiations when required.
Support new buyers on S&L policies & procedures and handle end-to-end processes post-negotiation.
Drive process improvements, create SOPs/training documents, and participate in global standardization teams and ISO 9001 audits.
Independently manage workload, set priorities, and ensure uninterrupted supply with outstanding stakeholder satisfaction.

Skill Requirements:

Degree in Supply Chain or related field is preferred.
Strong customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to handle pressure and adapt quickly.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and experience with SAP is essential.
Team player with a positive attitude and professional demeanor.
