We are seeking a licensed Outpatient Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in Bradenton, Florida. This role is ideal for a compassionate, detail‑oriented PTA who enjoys working one‑on‑one with patients to help them improve movement, manage pain, and recover from chronic conditions, injuries, or surgery. You will work under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered rehabilitative care.
Key Responsibilities
Implement individualized treatment plans as established by the supervising Physical Therapist
Provide hands‑on therapy to patients recovering from injury, illness, or surgery
Educate and assist patients with proper form, technique, and progression of therapeutic exercises
Perform manual therapy and neuromuscular re‑education as directed
Monitor patient response to treatment and communicate updates or changes to the Physical Therapist
Document daily treatment sessions and progress notes accurately in the EMR system
Deliver consistent, high‑quality care while seeing patients one‑on‑one
Support a positive, professional, and patient‑focused clinical environment
Qualifications
· Hold a valid physical therapist assistant license
· Be proficient in modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation
· Strong communication and customer service skills at all levels of interaction
· Knowledge of medical terminology Computer Skills (Preferably experience with EMR/EHR)
· Ability to Multi-Task and prioritize
· Ability to function well in a fast-paced environment
