Temporary Payroll/HR Specialist
HumanEdge is seeking a detail-oriented Temporary Payroll/HR Specialist to support a busy organization with payroll processing, benefits administration, and HR operations. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced payroll professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys wearing multiple hats within Human Resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll using ADP Workforce Now, including new hires, terminations, pay rate changes, and payroll deductions
- Reconcile Time & Attendance data, research and correct missed punches, and ensure payroll accuracy prior to processing
- Support benefits administration, including enrollments, terminations, and communication with carriers and brokers
- Maintain employee records and assist with onboarding activities, including I-9 verification and new hire documentation
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, PTO, benefits, and HR-related matters in a professional and timely manner
- Assist with payroll reporting, benefits reporting, and general HR administrative functions as needed

Qualification
- 3+ years of hands-on, full-cycle payroll experience
- Strong recent experience with ADP Workforce Now and Time & Attendance
- Experience supporting hourly/non-exempt employees in a manufacturing, warehouse, distribution, or similar environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a small, fast-paced, family-owned company
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
