Title- Patient Service Representative

Location- Mount Pleasant, SC 29464

Pay Rate- $15–$18/hour on W2

Contract length- 2 months contract (possibility of extension)

Shift: Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM


Job Description:

  • Register patients and enter their demographic and insurance details accurately.
  • Verify patient information and update records when needed.
  • Schedule patient appointments based on availability and urgency.
  • Collect co-pays and patient payments at check-in and check-out.
  • Handle patient calls and provide information about billing, insurance, and appointments.
  • Work on Epic system to fix billing errors, insurance claims, and work queues.
  • Investigate insurance denials and correct data for successful claim processing.
  • Reconcile daily cash, card, and check payments.
  • Prepare reports and maintain accurate financial records.


Required:

  • High School Diploma OR GED
