Pastry Cook

We are seeking a passionate and energetic Pastry Sous Chef & Pastry Cook/Plater to join our dynamic culinary team. Duties

• Assist in managing the pastry kitchen, supervising staff, and ensuring smooth daily operations
• Prepare, bake, and plate a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods with precision and flair
• Decorate cakes and pastries using advanced cake decorating techniques to create visually stunning treats
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety protocols in accordance with health regulations
• Collaborate with the Pastry Chef to develop new dessert menus and seasonal specials
• Handle food production tasks including mixing, piping, garnishing, and portioning to ensure consistency and excellence

Qualifications

• Proven pastry experience with a strong portfolio of baked goods and desserts
• Skilled in cake decorating, food handling, and food preparation techniques
• Experience in food production within a professional kitchen or restaurant setting
• Excellent knife skills and knowledge of baking principles
• Familiarity with food safety standards and proper hygiene practices
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Customer service-oriented mindset with the ability to work well under pressure
