Job Title: Litigation Paralegal – Personal Injury

Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid – 1 day remote per week)

Industry: Legal

Compensation: $60,000 – $75,000 annually

Work Schedule: 9 AM to 5 PM – Monday through Friday, 4 days onsite, 1 day remote

Job Description:

Our client is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys with a high-volume caseload. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys taking ownership of cases, and is comfortable adapting to shifting priorities. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist attorneys with day-to-day management of personal injury litigation matters
  • Conduct client communications, including initial intake coordination and follow-ups
  • Review, organize, and summarize medical records and billing documentation
  • Draft correspondence and assist with pleadings, motions, and other legal filings
  • Prepare and file court documents in compliance with deadlines and procedures
  • Manage calendars, deadlines, and scheduling for attorneys
  • Support trial preparation and discovery processes
  • Maintain accurate and organized case files


Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal within personal injury law
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and evolving environment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with attorneys
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Spanish-speaking skills are a plus, but not required
