We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead day-to-day warehouse operations within a temperature-controlled environment. This role is responsible for managing multiple shifts, ensuring safe and efficient operations, and developing a high-performing team. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, operational discipline, and a people-first mindset to help drive continuous improvement across warehouse processes.


This position will oversee shipping, receiving, material movement, and storage while maintaining strong safety standards, operational efficiency, and inventory accuracy.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage warehouse operations across multiple shifts to ensure safety, efficiency, and productivity.
  • Oversee shipping, receiving, storage, and material movement while ensuring schedule adherence and service levels.
  • Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all environmental, health, safety, and security regulations.
  • Partner with HR to maintain appropriate staffing levels, support hiring efforts, and drive employee engagement and retention.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to warehouse supervisors and team members.
  • Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to labor efficiency, operational performance, and housekeeping standards.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve warehouse processes and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards within the warehouse environment.
  • Manage warehouse equipment maintenance and lease programs to ensure operational reliability.
  • Support the development of leadership training programs for supervisors and group leaders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational initiatives and system improvements.
  • Utilize ERP, WMS, and Microsoft Office tools to support daily operations and reporting.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 3+ years of warehouse or operations management experience
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Ability to analyze operational challenges and implement corrective actions
  • Experience working with ERP and WMS systems preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and operational improvement projects
