Operations Manager

To support the company’s growth, we are seeking an Operations Manager who will oversee a two-shift operation. Reporting to the Director of Operations, this role will have responsibilities spanning over day and night shift, supporting the embellishment, fulfillment, and distribution of products to meet our clients and customer’s needs.

Key Responsibilities

Production Management

§ Responsible for operational workflows related to the receipt, put away, picking, production, finishing and shipping of goods through the warehouse.

§ Responsible for daily, weekly, and monthly output of production.

§ Manage the night shift operation through the Night Shift Supervisor. Ensure clear direction and goals are set for the team to be successful.

§ Ensure pre-shift meetings are occurring across both shifts for team alignment, and understanding of production goals, and important communications.

§ Address cross-shift feedback, and work to resolve conflicts between shifts.

§ Create and execute a daily shift plan, assign labor appropriately, and address production barriers to ensure production goals are met.

§ Ensure orders are fulfilled on time, in full. Ensure that order shorts are communicated effectively to the operation and customer service leadership teams.

§ Monitor the order pipeline to ensure that order due dates are adhered to.

§ Using lean methodologies, assess process flows, suggest, and implement process improvements to improve operator efficiencies.


Safety

§ Ensure OSHA safety standards are met.

§ Maintain a clean, organized shop floor (5S standards).

§ Ensure all safety and compliance training is completed, and safety protocols are adhered to.

Team Leadership

§ Hire, train, and mentor Operations Supervisor, Operations Team Leads, and Warehouse Associates.

§ Conduct performance reviews and manage shift scheduling/attendance.

§ Ensure all team compliance training is met.

§ Ensure effective communication with warehouse associates as well as office and support teams.

§ Foster a positive, high-energy culture focused on teamwork and efficiency.

Qualifications

§ Bi-Lingual, Ability to speak both English and Spanish.

§ Bachelor’s degree in operations management, Industrial Engineering, or related field.

§ 5-10 years of experience in a production, distribution, or warehouse fulfillment environment.

§ Experience with shop floor and/or warehouse management systems technology.

§ Experience with leading, training, and developing warehouse associates.

§ Embroidery and Embellishment Experience a strong plus.

§ Proficient in Microsoft Office and similar software.
