Operations Analyst (Contract – 6 Months | Full-Time Track)

We are seeking a mid-level Operations Analyst to build and own our monthly Sales forecasting framework and strengthen business analytics across Sales and Operations.
This is a hands-on role focused on structured forecasting, data integrity, and operational alignment — not basic reporting.
What You’ll Do
Sales Forecasting
- Build and maintain monthly Sales forecasts using Microsoft Dynamics CRM opportunity and quote data
- Develop revenue and unit projections using structured pipeline-weighted methodology
- Deliver forecast packages aligned with HQ manufacturing and procurement planning
- Continuously refine models and improve forecast accuracy
Data & Systems Integration
- Reconcile CRM data with SAP ERP and financial records
- Improve CRM data quality and reporting consistency
- Build scalable models in Excel and/or Power BI
- Support CRM transition and implementation
Operational Analysis
- Identify quote-to-order bottlenecks
- Investigate forecast misses and revenue timing discrepancies
- Perform structured root-cause analysis across Sales, Finance, and Operations
- Recommend data-driven process improvements
What We’re Looking For
- 3–6+ years in Operations Analytics, Business Analytics, or Sales Operations
- Experience building forecasting models (from scratch preferred)
- Advanced Excel skills
- CRM experience (Microsoft Dynamics preferred)
- ERP exposure (SAP preferred)
- Understanding of pipeline forecasting logic and probability weighting
- Strong attention to detail and structured analytical thinking
Preferred
- Renewable energy or industrial B2B experience
- Power BI, SQL, Python, or R exposure
- Experience with long sales cycles and large contract environments
Success in First 6 Months
- Monthly forecast delivered on time
- Forecast accuracy within defined tolerance band
- Measurable improvement in CRM data completeness
- Identification and execution of process improvements
This role operates independently but in close collaboration with leadership. It requires precision, accountability, and disciplined analytical thinking.
