Temporary Office Assistant – Seattle (In Office)

CB Partners is partnering with an AM Law firm client to hire a Temporary Office Assistant for their Seattle office. This role is ideal for a polished administrative professional who thrives in a fast paced, client facing environment and enjoys supporting attorneys and daily office operations.

This is an on site position with the potential to convert to a full time opportunity.


Compensation

Hourly Rate: $23.00 to $26.00 per hour, based on experience

Eligible for performance based bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package upon conversion


Key Responsibilities

Reception & Front Office Support

  • Greet and assist clients and visitors, ensuring proper routing and a professional experience
  • Manage incoming deliveries and coordinate distribution within the office
  • Schedule and maintain Conference Center usage
  • Coordinate catering for meetings and events
  • Request and manage files from off site storage

Office Services & Operations

  • Oversee office supplies, mail services, and shipping logistics including USPS and FedEx
  • Copy and prepare legal documents and materials
  • Maintain copy room and café supplies, including vendor coordination
  • Coordinate document production with external vendors
  • Troubleshoot and coordinate maintenance for office equipment with IT and vendors

Administrative Support

  • Assist attorneys, paralegals, and administrative staff with projects and client matters
  • Serve as liaison with building management for office maintenance issues
  • Support accounts payable processing including invoice collection and coding
  • Assist with file organization and labeling for compliance and recordkeeping

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of office or administrative experience
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under deadlines
  • Strong communication skills with a professional, client facing demeanor
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Comfortable handling confidential information

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and move materials up to 12 pounds
  • Ability to access shelves up to 8 feet high
