Registered Nurse Manager – NICU (Direct Hire | Full-Time)
Pay: $34 – $51/hour (based on experience)
Schedule
Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 3x12 hours
May include weekends, holidays, and on-call based on department needs
Overview
A healthcare organization in Northwest Indiana is seeking an experienced NICU Registered Nurse for a direct hire, full-time role. Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, evidence-based neonatal intensive care in alignment with ANA Standards of Practice
- Assess, monitor, and manage critically ill newborn patients in a NICU setting
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care
- Prioritize and delegate care effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Communicate clearly with families, caregivers, and healthcare team members
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and ethical nursing standards
- Ensure a safe, supportive, and efficient care environment for patients and families
Requirements
- Minimum 2–3 years NICU RN experience required
- Active Indiana RN license (required)
- Current CPR certification (required)
- Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Education
- BSN required upon hire or within 3 years (per facility policy)
- ADN accepted only if grandfathered under existing policy
