Nurse Practitioner (NP) – Outpatient Infusion Center

3- or 4-day workweek options, Monday through Friday (day shifts)

Location: Springfield, IL


We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join a growing outpatient infusion center focused on delivering biologic therapies for patients with chronic conditions. This is a hands-on, patient-facing role ideal for providers who enjoy combining clinical expertise with autonomy in a non-hospital setting.


You’ll play a key role in administering infusions, monitoring patient responses, and ensuring safe, high-quality care in a calm, outpatient environment.


Job Responsibilities

  • Administer biologic infusion therapies and monitor patients throughout treatment
  • Assess patients for reactions and respond appropriately to any adverse events
  • Perform IV placements and manage various types of vascular access
  • Provide bedside nursing care in an outpatient infusion setting
  • Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and care team members
  • Document all patient care in Cerner EMR
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and infusion best practices
  • Operate independently in the clinic with on-call physician support


Schedule

  • 3- or 4-day workweek options, Monday through Friday (day shifts)
  • Hours of 8am - 5pm
  • No nights, weekends, or on-call shifts!


Qualifications

Required:

  • Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license – Illinois
  • Minimum 2+ years of RN experience (strong clinical foundation required)
  • Comfortable with IV placement and vascular access
  • Willingness to complete a required weekend infusion certification course (virtual)


Preferred:

  • Outpatient or infusion center experience
  • Experience with biologic medications or chronic disease management
  • Strong bedside nursing background

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $95,000 – $125,000 annually (reflects a 3 / 4 day per week schedule)
  • Full-time benefits available (4-day/week employees qualify)
  • Part-time benefits include PTO, 401(k), and optional supplemental coverage (3 days/week)

  • 3-day onsite training (travel reimbursed)
  • Supportive onboarding with experienced clinical team
