Must haves

  • Bilingual: English and Polish (conversational fluency)
  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited nursing school (or Master’s in Physician Assisting)
  • Successful completion of a Nurse Practitioner program
  • Current RN license in the practicing state
  • Current Nurse Practitioner license
  • BLS / CPR certification

Plusses

  • Prior experience in oncology or hematology
  • Experience with telemedicine / virtual patient care (80% in clinic, 20% telehealth)
  • Experience with case management
  • Familiarity with billing, reimbursement, and charge capture

Day to Day

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
  • Serve as a direct caregiver for oncology and hematology patients
  • Conduct patient visits in clinic and via telemedicine
  • Prescribe therapies and initiate interventions as appropriate
  • Perform procedures after proper training
  • Educate patients and families on diagnosis, treatment, and wellness
  • Incorporate evidence‑based research into clinical practice
  • Complete medical documentation and charge capture accurately and timely
  • Provide limited case management and connect patients with community resources
  • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams
  • Support compliance with OSHA, regulatory standards, and US Oncology Compliance Program
  • Participate in hospital rounding and potential weekend or after‑hours call rotation
  • Promote or assist with staff education initiatives
  • Other duties as assigned
