Network Technician (Tier 1) – Austin Region

Are you a hands-on tech who thrives in the field and enjoys the "audit-to-activation" lifecycle? We are looking for a detailed-oriented Network Technician to support a major network infrastructure project in the Austin Metro area.

This isn't your typical desk job. You’ll be the boots on the ground ensuring network health and successful deployments across the region.

• Audit & Discovery: Conduct onsite surveys for device mapping.
• Deployment: Hands-on "rack and stack" of switches and network equipment.
• Wireless: Installation of up to 25 Access Points (APs) per site.

Schedule & Travel

• Location: Austin Metro (Primary focus: Jollyville / Great Hills area).
• Flexibility is Key: Daily shifts fluctuate (4–10+ hours) depending on the site phase.
• After-Hours Work: Hardware installs are performed after-hours to minimize clinical disruptions.
• Regional Travel: Drive times of 1–2 hours are expected (fully compensated + mileage).

What You Need

• Proven experience in network hardware installation and field technician roles.
• Ability to commit to a project requiring a mix of day and evening shifts.
• High attention to detail for physical audits and data collection.

Comp & Perks

• Rate: $25.00 – $28.00/hr (Based on Experience).
• Travel: Comprehensive Mileage and Travel Compensation.
