Network Engineer with Financial Software & Systems

We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer with experience in Financial Software & Systems (FSS), banking infrastructure, and payment ecosystems. The candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting secure, high-availability network environments that support mission-critical financial applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure supporting banking and financial systems
• Manage and troubleshoot LAN/WAN, routing, switching, and network security components
• Support financial platforms such as payment gateways, ATM/POS networks, and core banking systems
• Ensure high availability, redundancy, and disaster recovery for financial applications
• Configure and maintain firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and network segmentation
• Monitor network performance, conduct root cause analysis, and optimize system performance
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and security standards such as PCI-DSS
• Collaborate with application, security, and infrastructure teams to support FSS platforms
• Maintain network documentation, configurations, and standard operating procedures

Required Skills

✅ Core Networking

• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, NAT
• Hands-on experience with routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP)
• Expertise in LAN/WAN, MPLS, SD-WAN

✅ Network Security

• Experience with firewalls (Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point)
• Knowledge of VPN technologies (IPSec, SSL VPN)
• Familiarity with Zero Trust Architecture, IDS/IPS

✅ Financial Systems Exposure

• Experience working with:
• Payment systems (RTGS, NEFT, SWIFT)
• ATM/POS networks
• Core banking platforms
• Financial transaction processing systems

✅ Tools & Technologies

• Network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Nagios, PRTG)
• Load balancers (F5, Citrix ADC)
• Cloud networking (AWS, Azure – VPC, VNets)

🔹 Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• 3–10 years of experience in network engineering (Banking/Financial domain preferred)
• Certifications (preferred):
• CCNA / CCNP / CCIE
• Palo Alto / Fortinet certifications

🔹 Preferred Skills

• Experience with Financial Software & Systems (FSS platforms)
• Exposure to payment gateways, digital banking, or fintech platforms
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and incident management
• Automation/scripting (Python, Ansible) is a plus
