Position: Senior Network Engineer
Compensation: $70 - $85 /hour, depending on experience
Location: Denver, Colorado

Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Design, implement, support, and troubleshoot enterprise Cisco network infrastructure across multiple locations.
- Serve as a senior technical resource for routing, switching, firewall, VPN, and network security operations.
- Configure and support Cisco routing and switching platforms, including advanced troubleshooting of LAN, WAN, and wireless environments.
- Manage and maintain network security technologies, including firewalls, remote access solutions, and network access controls.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and operations teams to ensure secure and reliable network services.
- Lead root cause analysis and resolution of complex network performance, connectivity, and security issues.
- Perform network upgrades, lifecycle refreshes, and implementation of new technologies with minimal business disruption.
- Coordinate with service providers and vendors to support circuit provisioning, troubleshooting, and network optimization.
- Develop and maintain network diagrams, standards, procedures, and operational documentation.
- Participate in on-call support and act as an escalation point for critical network incidents.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Seven or more years of Network Engineering experience supporting enterprise-scale environments.
- Strong Cisco networking background with deep expertise in routing and switching technologies.
- Hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting Cisco firewalls and network security solutions.
- Advanced knowledge of routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, and EIGRP.
- Experience supporting VPN technologies, network segmentation, access control, and secure network design principles.
- Experience troubleshooting complex network issues across LAN, WAN, wireless, and security platforms.
- Ability to work independently and serve as a senior-level technical resource for network operations.
- Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Experience with Cisco ISE, TACACS+, RADIUS, and network authentication technologies.
- Experience with Cisco Firepower, FTD, and FMC administration.
- Experience supporting Cisco wireless infrastructure and wireless troubleshooting.
- CCNP Enterprise, CCNP Security, or other advanced Cisco certifications.
- Experience within critical infrastructure, utilities, energy, or industrial environments.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.
